Times of India - Have the Times really changed???
Earlier it was DC and now it is the turn of Times of India.
Gone are the days when Authentic and credible news are published!! Now everyone are vying for a piece of the growing consumer market.

Mahaamma - Get well soon!!
For all of you wondering who this Mahaamma is, She is my Maid. She is there with me for the past four years. She is not only my doemstic help but also a very caring and a resposible person. We all call her Amma and I have even trained my son to call her mahaamma, so that she feels at home.
She takes care of my 3.5 year old son. She fell ill yesterday and did not come to work. She normally calls up when she is unable to come. Yesterday I did not even get her call.
Wondering what would have happened, I rang up and found out that she was unwell. She has low BP and she fainted. So I went to her house in the evening along with my son. She was very weak and tired and was lying down. Told her to take good rest and come to work only when she has fully recovered.
I hope that she would get well soon. This might sound a little selfish, bcos I am so dependant on her and it is a fact that she is one reason for me to come to work. I can leave my son with her and come to office without any thoughts about home.
Not sure how many will get a maid like her??

Photo walk Chennai
Last night got a SMS from one of my friends inviting me for a Photo walk that is gonna happen on 13th april in chennai. He he he only after i got this message I had to browse the net to find out what a Photo walk means!!
Photo walk is organised every month in chennai by people interested in photography. They go around the city and click some beautiful pictures with their camera.
Just because I owned a Sony DSC H7 my friend had invited me to this walk.
Unfortnately I will not be able to attend the photo walk:( Will try to attend atleast the next time. A sample pic taken with my H7.

Questnet MLM
Recently a lot of buzz is going in our office regarding this questnet/goldquest. My friend who joined questnet was canvasing me to join it. I was really confused, so did a little bit of research and found out this useful link:

Goldquest/ Questnet is a Multi level marketing system. You will have to become a member by paying a certain amount and then introduce members to join the scheme. Based on the number of members you introduce your earnings will vary. The logic is quite simple the person who joined first will make some quick bucks. After doing a lot of reading I found out that this is not gonna be my cup of tea:) and hence did not join. Being content is considered Divine!!!
